Grants – Educator (Mini)

New Bedford Educator Mini-Grants Can Help!

NBEF Mini-Grants are created to provide supplementary financial support to educators looking to create innovative educational opportunities for New Bedford public school students in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics (STEAM) and/or World Languages.

Creative Ideas Welcome!
Initiatives can take many forms:

  • Visiting artists
  • Designing cross-curricular learning units
  • Providing enrichment opportunities
  • Developing or enhancing a course
  • Creating classroom experiences to foster student engagement
  • Organizing parent outreach endeavors

Individual educators are limited to one award per grant cycle. In keeping with the NBEF mission, educators are encouraged to engage in one of the many community resources in the Greater New Bedford Area.
